Remembering Christina Grimmie

Fifth Harmony paid tribute to your late Christina Grimmie having a moment of silence on the WBLI Summer Jam in Wantagh, New York on Saturday night (June 11).

"Such an incredible soul, such a good looking talent," Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei told the group. "From the minute that we met she was always nice to us. So humble. We love you together with we are praying for ones family. And we know you're smiling down from above. Let's all bow our heads down. Chrstina Grimmie."

The entire crowd at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater fell silent because the audience lit up the night time with the light with their cell phones.

On a similar evening in Miami, Selena Gomez honored her slain friend onstage which has a moving performance of Hillsong Worship's "Transfiguration."

Grimmie -- a YouTube star who placed third about the sixth season of The Voice -- was shot and killed by 27-year-old Kevin James Loibl on the Plaza Live on June 10 after her show opening for your band Before You Exit. Loibl was quickly tackled by Grimmie's brother Mark before shooting himself.

Adele Surprises Los Angeles Fan With A Gig

Adele wowed fans and celebrities alike at the pre-Grammy Awards gig in Los Angeles on Friday, her first from the Californian city for four years.


The Brit Hello superstar announced the concert on Wednesday, and tickets were provided to people inside the California area have been previously registered back with her website.

The lucky fans were treated to a array of her old and new hits within the 16-song set at venue The Wiltern, with celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson, Tom Hanks, Emma Stone and rumoured new couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom also within the excited audience.

Introduced on stage by her friend and fellow Brit, The Late Late Show host James Corden, Adele opened together with her recent worldwide runaway success Hello, her first single in the new album 25.

Adele When We Were Young chatted to your crowd amongst songs including Set Fire for the Rain and Someone Like You, revealing that she'd visited Disneyland on Tuesday with son Angelo, and after that joked around the venue being way too hot. "I think that my make-up's gonna slide off me (sic) face!" she laughed, based on Billboard.com.

She then apologised to the $50 (£31.25) expense of tickets, telling fans she wanted these to be much cheaper.

"Sorry whether or not this was a pain within the a** having the tickets. Did some of you pay over $50 for any one these tickets?" she asked. "They (the record company) were all saying, 'Oh let's do $150 a ticket, ok last one! So-n-so said that…' I said $50.

"I could have (charged) less, but my record label is spending money on this. As you can see with the set, we've exhaust money," she joked, referencing the sparse backdrop.

Before a final song on the night, Hello singer asked her fans to provide a rendition of her hit Hello. Desperate to capture the instant on video, she ran backstage, still holding her microphone, and pleaded with a person to lend her a telephone.

"I take some kind of recording device. Hang on!" she said. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Someone give me a telephone! Oh can occur, there's like 20 f**king people back here, give me a mobile phone!"

Joining in at the end in the song, Adele told the group to thunderous applause, "That was f**king amazing. That would have been a whole f**king song! You are amazing!... That was amazing. Thank you."

She finished her triumphant set together with her 2011 hit Rolling from the Deep, along with an enthusiastic Jennifer Lawrence was seen dancing along towards the song with Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Orlando Bloom.

Celebrities were quick to praise the Brit's surprise gig, with Tom Hanks posting a gushing message on Twitter. "Adele. What a show. What a voice. What a woman. What an artist. What a date! Thank you. Hanx," he captioned a photo in the singer on stage. His wife Rita Wilson later shared a graphic of her and Tom meeting Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki on Instagram.com, emailing Adele, "There aren't any words. Only thanks."

"I know you're gonna rock the WILTERN (sic) tonight girl," wrote Lady Gaga, while Josh Groban tweeted, "Finally reached see the transcendent @Adele tonight. That voice live is really a world treasure... !!!!!!"

The singer's world tour starts in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on 1 March.

Adele Dominating At BBC Music Awards

The winners on the BBC Music Awards 2015 happen to be revealed tonight within a star-studded show on the Genting Arena, Birmingham. Jammed with breathtaking performances from some with the biggest names within the international music scene, five awards received out on the night time.

Adele was crowned British Artist from the Year inside the first of her double honours in the night, as revealed by Rod Stewart. Queen's Brian May announced her second gong: BBC Live Performance with the Year for Adele with the BBC, A BBC One Special.

Adele sent some text of as a result of her fans: "Sorry I'm not there, I'm absolutely gutted but thanks much for my award. Thank you so, a great deal. I hope you're all creating a wonderful night."

Birmingham's own International star, Citizen Khan - aka actor Adil Ray - latched onto the stage to announce Taylor Swift as International Artist from the Year.

Taylor Swift sent this message from Australia where she's on tour: "I wish I could be with you right this moment but I'm on tour in Australia. Thank you a great deal for this BBC Music Award for International Artist with the Year. It was a fantastic highlight on the year to me getting to play Big Weekend in Norwich. Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton presented Jack Garratt in reference to his BBC Music Introducing Artist with the Year Award before his electrifying performance of Worry.

The fifth and final award with the evening was presented by Radio 1's Greg James and Radio 2's Jo Whiley to Hozier whose Take Me To Church was crowned by public vote as Song with the Year.

Wrapping in the event, hosts Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton also announced that this BBC Music Awards will go back to Birmingham's Genting Arena next December for your 2016 BBC Music Awards.

Hosted by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton, the BBC Music Awards came about in front of a live audience at The Genting Arena, Birmngham and you will be broadcast to millions more in the united states on BBC One, Radio 2 at bbc.co.uk/music. Radio 1 had all of the backstage action through the show. The star-studded evening saw performances from several internationally recognised names including Ellie Goulding, Faithless, Hozier, James Bay, Jess Glynne, Little Mix, OMI, One Direction, Rod Stewart, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, Stereophonics, The Shires and Years & Years, plus BBC Introducing Artist on the Year, Jack Garratt.

One Direction got the evening started with favourite Drag Me Down then Ellie Goulding wooed the listeners with Love Me Like You Do. Stereophonics performed C'est La Vie prior to BBC Concert Orchestra saluted Frank Sinatra’s 100th centenary with New York New York. Hozier was bulimia with Take Me To Church, then Little Mix with Black Magic, and then OMI with Cheerleader. Jess Glynne sang Hold My Hand and James Bay sang Hold Back the River. Then Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott connected with The Shires for just a Country feast and sang The Austerity of Love, Nashville Grey Skies and Leaving over a Jet Plane. Introducing Artist with the Year, Jack Garratt sang Worry and Years and Years sang King. Faithless sang Insomnia and Rod Stewart had everyone dancing using a grand finale of Please and Sailing.
