Short Biography


Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, better known by her stage name Adele is a singer-songwriter born in British West Norwood, London, May 5, 1988. Check fresh sheet music here.

She was the first winner of Critics’ Choice (Critics Award) BRIT Awards and was named as first choice as a prediction of the discovery of the year 2008 in a vote of BBC music reviews, Sound of 2008. In 2009, Adele won two Grammy Awards, is one of the best new artist and for best pop performance by a singer at the 51st edition of the Grammy Awards.

Adele drew the attention of XL Recordings demo with three songs that she gave to a friend and who was subsequently placed on MySpace, and subsequently signed with the record company. Since her debut album, 19, Adele has received much recognition, both commercially and by critics. This album debuted at number one, and was certified three times platinum in the United Kingdom. His career in the United States was propelled when she made an appearance during a broadcast of Saturday Night Live has received a rating of record at the end of 2008.
